Our Story
Founder's Story
CK Marketing Coaching was founded by Carolyne Kendi — a brand strategist, commercial leader, and connector committed to unlocking the growth potential of African businesses through world-class brand building.
Her career was shaped inside some of the most respected brand-driven organisations in Africa, including Unilever, Diageo, Safaricom, and Absa. Over more than two decades, she has led brand, marketing, and commercial transformation across FMCG, telecommunications, and financial services — helping scale iconic brands, launch category-defining products, and build high-performing teams where brand strategy directly translated into market growth and long-term equity.
These experiences formed her conviction that exceptional brand building is not accidental. It is a disciplined craft — combining insight, creativity, systems, and leadership — and one that too few African businesses have consistent access to. CK Marketing Coaching was created to close this gap.
Today, Kendi partners with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams to design growth strategies, strengthen brand systems, and build internal capability that enables organisations to scale sustainably. Her work blends strategic advisory, hands-on execution, and leadership coaching — ensuring that learning is embedded, not outsourced, and that teams leave stronger than they arrived.
